Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur, organized an activity on National Handloom Day for the students of Classes III to V on 7th August’21. The objective of the activity was to generate awareness about the importance of handloom industry and its contribution to Socio- Economic Development among students.
The activity included a video which briefed about handloom industries, power point presentation made by students of Class V which had valuable information about the different kinds of handloom clusters found in India, postal stamps based on handloom heritage etc.
The students demonstrated the different kinds of handloom sarees weaved by the weavers all over India. It was an enriching and creative session for the students.
