Physics Department, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur in collaboration with Indian Science Congress (Kanpur Chapter) organized on-line workshop for class VIth on 24th and 25th August. Topic of the workshop was “PRESSURE”. Workshop was taken up by the students of class IX. Mentors prepared PPT and videos to explain the concept, did hand on activities to connect the students and create interest among them and finally used ICT tool ie KAHOOT-online quiz to assess the understanding of the concept. Workshop was very enriching and amalgamation of various tools satisfying need of the virtual presentations.
LEARNING OUTCOME:
- Children came to know about liquid and atmospheric pressure.
- Applications of pressure.
- Use of KAHOOT as online tool
- Building up confidence and skills like digital and communication in the students
- Better understanding of theory by doing and interacting
