Through the synergy of intellect, artistry and grace… came into existence the blessing of a dancer.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School enthused with the joy of dancing celebrated World Dance Day on 29 April, 2020 on Zoom Virtual App with great zeal and fervor amidst the stressful period of lockdown. The celebration was to promote art and culture amongst the students. The celebration commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guests for the occasion Mrs. Vandana Debroy, Mr. Saurabh Singh, choreographer, Mrs. Annu Goel and Dr.Sangeeta Srivastava, renowned Kathak Dancer. The celebration was witnessed by our Principal, Mrs Shikha Banerjee, Vice Principal, Mr. Ashley Fernandes, Head Master, Head Mistress and 89 participants.
A graceful dance performance by the students on the theme of COVID-19 which was choreographed by the dance teachers Mr. Vipin Nigam and Mr.Saif was appreciated by one and all. The guests shared their views stating that dance is a stress buster, memory booster and keeps our energy level high at all times. Dr. Sangeeta recited a couplet composed by her.
The splendid event reiterated the fact that dance not only helps in expressing emotions but also relaxes our mind, body and soul. The event culminated with a vote of thanks extended by Mr. Saif, Mrs Madhushree Bhaumik & Mr. Ashley Fernandez to the venerable guests and the mesmerizing dance of the students.
