107th Indian Science Congress was held from 3rd -7th January, 2020 at the University of Agriculture Sciences, Bengaluru. Focal theme of the summit was SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT. A five-day summit was inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi who emphasized on the concepts of “Innovate, Patent, Produce and Prosper”. He stated that innovation for the people and by the people is the direction of New India. There were poster and digital presentations by eminent scientists and professors. Nobel laureate Prof. Stefan Hell gave his presentation on Microscopy and Prof Ada E. Yonath on Ribosomes.
Rashmi Srivastava attended the meet as a Science Communicator and presented a paper on LOW-COST TECHNOLOGY FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT and POPULARIZING SCIENCE AMONG STUDENTS.
